Andrei Isakov
was born in Minsk, Belarus on October 11, 1989.
In 2007 Andrei enrolled at the Minsk Art Colledge ("Glebovka") at the department of Fine Arts .
In 2011 his first personal exhibition took place in the Schemelev gallery in Minsk. It was called “The Hero of Our Time” and consisted of the senior project works of the author, etudes and some graphic.
After the exhibition Belarusian art magazines wrote about Andrei's works. Radio and TV channels interviewed the artist.
Later Andrei took part in different art competitions and projects like One Day On Earth, Future Generation Art Prize, OECD Global Youth Video Competition and others.
Andrei has got a scholarship to study at the Fine Arts department of the University of Mikolaj Kopernik in Torun, Poland.
Andrei finished bachelor degree on Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with “Origami" project – an artistic video game.
As a student he conducted research on the status of computer games in contemporary art. He established and headed Animagica student research group, running classes in 3D modelling, rendering and animation using a wide range of tools, e.g. kinect motion capture. He completed the Game Dev School training in Warsaw, gaining computer gaming sector competences, from planning and developing a budget to execution. He is currently assistant and lecturer at the Faculty of Media Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He runs classes in 3D graphics, modelling, animation and virtual reality.
